After a successful career in the business world for over 20 years, I followed my passion into early childhood education, where I bring 15 years of experience as a teacher and director.
I am inspired every day by children's growth, development, and limitless potential, and I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and purposeful environment where every child can thrive.
I believe in building strong partnerships with families and staff to support each child's unique journey, while fostering curiosity, joy, and a lifelong love of learning.

Hello everyone! I am very pleased to be part of Little Oak Preschool and their amazing team. I recently graduated from Chico State with a BA in Liberal Studies and hold 15 ECE Units in Child Development, with hopes to continue my education and receive a Master's one day.
I have been teaching infants through afterschool programs for about 12 years and I love being able to help children develop at all ages and stages. I believe it is important to truly know each child so we can fully support them in reaching their full potential.

Hello! I'm Ms. Ayumi, born and raised in Okinawa, Japan. I studied Early Childhood Education at the Montessori Teacher Education Center (MTEC) in the Bay Area and hold a preschool and kindergarten teaching license from Japan.
I have experience working with children from 2 months to 18 years old, including children with special needs. I truly love working with children and am always eager to keep learning and trying new things.

Hi, I'm Limei (Ms. Li). I've been part of Little Oak since 2019 and bring over 30 years of experience working with children. I taught in elementary schools and kindergartens in China, then spent five years teaching at a preschool in Oakland.
I love working with children and believe there is always something to learn from them. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.

Hello! I'm Ms. Lizeth, born in Mexico City and a proud mother of two daughters. I earned my Early Childhood Education and Child Development degree at Cañada College in 2016, a Bilingual Associate certificate in 2017, and completed my Montessori training in 2021.
I have experience working with children ages 1 to 6 and am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and learning.

Hi! I'm Ms. Pam. With nine years of experience working with children from infancy to age five, I've explored Reggio Emilia, Montessori, play-based, and STEAM approaches. I recently earned my Associate's Degree in ECE from Foothill College.
I'm passionate about play as a foundation for confidence and social skills. I also love cheering on the SF Giants and 49ers — and baking pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!

Hello everyone! I'm Ms. Rosie, born in California and raised in East Palo Alto. I attended Mills College where I studied Child Development, and I'm currently continuing my Early Childhood Education studies at Cañada College.
At Little Oak, I primarily work with preschoolers while also supporting the toddler and infant classrooms. I've learned so much from both the teachers and children here. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, time with family, and story-driven video games.

Hello families! I'm Ms. Jozann. I've been working with children since high school, with experience from preschool through 8th grade including students with special needs. My background includes seven years as a tutor/mentor, two years as a para-educator, and nine years as a preschool/Pre-K teacher.
I earned a Montessori Teacher Credential and NCLB certification at Cañada College. What inspires me most is watching children grow and explore the world with curiosity.

Hello! I'm Ms. Chia, and I'm excited to be part of the Little Oak Preschool community. I work with the Caterpillars class and incorporate dance and yoga into the curriculum for all preschoolers.
I bring nine years of experience as a dance and event choreographer specializing in hip-hop, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from the University of Oregon.
